On Friday, March 13th, the Buena High School Choir went to a festival hosted by the Southern California Vocal Association at Santa Paula High School and received a “superior” rating, the highest rating offered! They also received two "superior" ratings the previous Friday during our VUSD Concert Choir Showcase, where choirs from Cabrillo, Balboa, Buena, CSUN, CLU, and the ChannelAire Chorus performed and participated in a clinic from two university choral professors with doctorates in choral singing.The students have been working hard to push themselves to learn and grow, and they have made their community proud.

We are happy to announce that we now have peer tutoring services available for students starting Wednesday, September 24, 2025!
The tutoring is available on Mondays after school from 2:30-3:30PM and on Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:20AM. The tutoring takes place in Room 11/12. Students do not need to sign up in advance to attend, nor have to stay for the entire time. The tutors are able to assist with most subject areas.
